The Infinite Capacity Partnership spent much of 2002 raising funds for the purchase of two beautiful (air-conditioned and heated) historic trolleys to run through the streets of North Adams, making regular circuits of town from the MASS MoCA parking lot. A quick trolley tour of town will show MASS MoCA's thousands of annual visitors some of the highlights of North Adams, including area businesses and cultural venues and the beautiful residential neighborhoods of North Adams, all narrated with an eye to our unique local history.

In Summer 2003, we ran a few trolley tours of town, led by volunteer tour operators; the tours were extremely popular, and people seemed to have a great time. As of Fall 2003, the trolleys are only being used for special events; we hope to have them running regular routes by Summer 2004. Stay tuned!
